The Coffee Plug is a coffee roasting project started by Chicago-based barista and writer Jake Tomszak in 2022. What began with home roasting out of an apartment on the north side of Chicago eventually grew to encompass a blog, a monthly coffee delivery club, as well as café development services.

“Coffee Ramble” is a coffee blog by The Coffee Plug that aims to educate new enthusiasts and share coffee stories from around the world.

“The Coffee Plug Coffee Club” delivers a rotating lineup of single origin coffee right to your doorstep so you never have to worry about running out of fresh coffee. Currently only available in Chicago.

“Espresso Bar” is a coffee pop-up service by The Coffee Plug that can be booked for festivals and events.
